The Edo State Flood, Erosion, and Watershed Management Agency (Edo FEWMA) was founded in July 2021 as the state’s principal agency for climate change mitigation, flood and erosion control, catchment and watershed management, and other environmental challenges.
It was formed with the mandate to mitigate the adverse effects of floods, erosion, and environmental degradation. EDOFEWMA operates under the guidance of the Edo State Government.
